Krush It Entertainment: Mainstreaming CareersHello, my name is Arthur and I would like to take a few minutes of your time and tell you a short story. By the end, I hope you, the reader, will come to understand why I need your help with achieving not only my dream but the dreams of hundreds, possibly thousands of passionate, creative people. It started when I was a young, spirited teen growing up in several group homes without a family, and sometimes even homeless. It was in these difficult times that my dreams were first formed, beginning with a serious interest in working within the entertainment industry as a film and voice actor. After some years of great adversity, I managed to pull myself into becoming independent after finding a stable job and having support from friends and adopted family.
During this change, I discovered much of who I was and who I wanted to be, including my true passion: music production. Specifically, I had developed a love for rapping and became committed to the idea of composing music, releasing several tracks in 2018 and 2019 that gained steady traction from a growing audience. I submitted my music to numerous labels, only to be dissuaded or manipulated with no guidance or professional development. Eventually after being scammed out of a few thousand dollars, and promises broken over six months, I was forced to resign from music production. The decision was difficult to make and only came to pass after the above incidents, being toyed with by various agents and managers, as well as shady business practices that didn't fit my values.
However, I did not give up my dream of working in the music industry. I modified my plans and decided to create my own entertainment company known as "Krush It Entertainment" in hopes of displaying to the world there are companies based on the process of creativity and expression of the artist, rather than profit and corporate control. I wanted to make sure other artists had an honest chance to be heard and not experience the struggles or lack of ethical treatment that I had to endure. This is why I chose to create Krush It, and I believe with your help, we can accomplish this dream and make it a reality for anyone with a serious passion for music and entertainment.
Now that I've shared my story, you're probably wondering why you should support this campaign and "Krush It
Entertainment". First — I want you to know that I believe creative ingenuity and talent isn't something you are born with — it blossoms from the passions inside oneself to strive to greatness. These traits can manifest within anyone, no matter their background or upbringing. With Krush It representing all individuals, they will have the tools and resources necessary to grow into professional musicians; with access to high-quality equipment, a recording studio, vocal/instrumental mentorship, and much more.
Having representation will give creative control back to artists through the empowerment of successful decision-making skills that are developed during the implementation of solid career planning, tailored to the pace and growth of each individual. Utilizing these resources with our team's professional guidance will allow our creators to build consistent portfolios of their content, offering more opportunities to enhance their talents and careers. Each artist will be able to track and measure their success along with any potential problems that may arise during development through coaching, meetings, action planning, and performance evaluations.
Next, I will explain how the campaign funding impacts the success of "Krush It Entertainment" in becoming a true talent management company within the industry. The current goal is set at $500,000 — a substantial investment that is crucial for major aspects of the company to function properly during its growth. These aspects can be broken down into three main areas of focus: acquisition of headquarters, resources, and payroll for staff and represented artists. Funding will be used for the mentorship of artists, tour bus costs, social media & TV/radio ad space for recruitment, brand awareness, air-time segments, equipment, venue/travel expenses, and other resources as necessary. Funding is explicitly for "Krush It Entertainment" use which is outlined on the main website in our policy guidelines section.
To conclude, I would like to share some recent successes with the progress and development of "Krush It Entertainment" to demonstrate how serious and committed I am to making this company a key player in the music industry. You may have heard of TME, better known as "Team Mashn Entertainment, LLC"; they are a sub-label of "Universal Music Group" — one of the largest music distribution companies in the world. A huge step in bringing Krush It to the fullest potential took place on May 3rd, 2021, when TME and our company entered into a legal music agreement, securing future distribution rights and additional resources for prospective artists when they sign. With this increased representation, creators are guaranteed their music will be heard on major platform services such as Spotify, iTunes, Pandora, etc. along with physical copy distribution globally. Because of this, now is the best time in campaigning for public aid through donations, networking, talent recruitment, and marketing to help Krush It reach the final goal of bringing our services to the public for avid music lovers and artists alike.
