Asking for 75k to help repair storm damages to our new preschool for children with learning disabilities

My name is Carrie Angeletti; I am the owner and director of INDIGO CHILD CENTER LLC, a preschool designed for students with mild learning disabilities (ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia, etc.), before/after school programs, summer camps, and so much more. I am currently operating from my home with six children due to state laws only allowing six children and incomplete construction at our new school site.
Hurricane Ida's damage repairs are a minor setback, and we need help to make up for damages that insurance will not cover so we can open our doors to the many families in need of our services. We started with summer camps in 2013 and have always had a waiting list; however, we will be able to accommodate many students with our new location of over 7k square feet. A local church donated six classroom buildings, four @780 sqft and 2@2k sqft. I have purchased 4 acres of rural land and paid 120k to move each building to our ground. Hurricane Ida started causing lousy weather the same day we were able to move the last building to the land. Our programs are desperately needed in the community where we are located. We need help, and it takes a village! We are eligible for educational grants and many other programs once we are open; the city and the state are waiting on us to fill seats for its headstart program. Each seat available pays over $600.00 per month, and we have been approved to fill 158 seats. Also, we will expand to about 300 seats in our third year of operation. The school is on a 4-acre lot consisting of 6 modular classroom buildings. The space includes a soccer field, playground, and enough space to expand our classroom space to accommodate up to 300 students. We will also host before & after school programs, summer camps, weekend events, and fundraisers for children aged 12. So far, we have made repairs from damages, paid our insurance policies in full for 12 months, and have been permitted by the city to construct the school. We have used a chunk of our funding to make unexpected repairs, but we still need plumbing, electrical and concrete work done. We have 80k, and we ask for 75k to help us complete our project. I am also the founder of a non-profit, Purple Hands Foundation, which makes my summer camps and a lot of programs I offer free to parents who cannot afford to pay. My background includes a Bachelor's in Business, and I am currently working on my Master's in Psychology and Child Development and will be graduating next year in June 2023. I am now the partner in a small trucking company. So far, my summer programs have been able to help over 500 children have a safe place for summer break. Each camp included two meals a day, lessons, activities, and field trips. I have been the camp director at each camp and will be the director at Indigo Child Center once we open. All help will be greatly appreciated.

Humbly,

Carrie Angeletti
