iGradePlus’ ultimate goal is to provide a high quality, much more affordable School Management System to the public and private school markets. However, our current target market is K-12 private schools. By focusing on this market segment first, we can get to profitability with the least amount of effort and capital. Private schools have much more autonomy and are less risk adverse than public schools when it comes to adopting new technology. Private schools also have smaller budgets and are seeking more affordable alternatives to the astronomically priced leaders in this market. Additionally, private schools require less features than larger public schools and districts, allowing us to provide a product that meets the needs of these customers early on, generating revenue as we continue to expand the product to meet the needs of much larger schools and school systems. There are currently over 30,000 private schools in the United States. iGradePlus could become a highly profitable company by solely focusing on this market; however, the private school market is just the beginning. Once the product has grown enough to support the features needed by larger public schools and districts, we will begin marketing to that segment more aggressively. Investment will help speed this process up by accelerating the development schedule of said features. Additionally, because iGradePlus has been designed to be highly customizable, it can meet the needs of a variety of different schools and educators. iGradePlus is currently used by K-12 private, public, and charter schools, adult education / trade / nursing schools, small colleges, and home school co-ops in a variety of countries around the world including Australia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Bahamas, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Cambodia, Canada, China, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Israel, Italy, Japan, Lithuania, Mexico, Montserrat, Paraguay, Philippines, Sierra Leone, South Korea, Suriname, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Trinidad and Tobago, United Kingdom, and Vietnam. However, the vast majority of our customers are currently small private schools in the United States.
