RE: Working Capital
The following is a brief narrative on our project for which we are seeking funding. We have a company, Homewood Partners, LLC (Homewood), which is a Texas limited liability company. Homewood has partnered with a company called 360 Forestry Cameroon (360) to harvest trees in Cameroon, Africa. Homewood and 360 have put together a highly experienced forestry team in Cameroon. In addition, our operations in Cameroon are overseen by the Dudieu Avocats Law firm, through Christian Djomga, a partner in the firm. Any funds transmitted from our Chase Bank account in Texas, to our operating account in Cameroon, are only done so through submitted invoices first approved by Mr. Djomga, with a follow up review by our CFO, Warren Dillard.
Operations are ongoing and Homewood has invested over $317,500 in the project to date. We are seeking up to $150,000 in working capital to help cover heavy equipment leasing costs. The heavy equipment is being used to move the cut logs to our buyer, Atlas Group Sarl BP (Atlas).
Homewood began harvesting operations Monday, September 12th, and to date we have cut over 3,100 cubic meters(CBM) of logs valued at more than $500,000. At our present rate of production, we will be producing 4,125 CBM per month which translates to $660,000 in revenues per month.
If we can get the 3,100 cubic meters of logs already cut to Atlas by the end of October, Atlas will
pay us for the logs by the 10th of November. Thus the $150,000 in funding will be paid back with
interest in less than 35 days. In addition, we are offering a preferred equity position in our Cameroon project as an incentive to secure the needed funding.
Thank you,
Fred D. Alexander
