Grandma's Family Fun Park
I am looking to open a family fun park in North Carolina.
In 2017, my son and his family was coming to North Carolina to visit and for us to meet his first child. We made plans to rent a pavilion at a local park. We had a great time in that the family was able to spend time together, but the setup for the park was all wrong. The pavilion was very far away from the playground so some of the adults had to be with the kids while other adults did the grilling. The playground was very small and the kids got bored, not to mention it was hot which made the kids cranky.
In my searching to find a place for the family, I realized there is a need for a family entertainment center.
I have been working on the project for several years now, doing research going to WWA and IAAPA, I have a market research study and started a business plan.
I need about another two to three years to complete the business plan due to the fact that I work a full time job, which is about 60 hours a week and I have a part time/ seasonal job where I only work when they need help, every other weekend I have six of my nine grandchildren for the weekend. That doesn't leave me with much time, but I have been doing research and going to classes when they are available.
Due to my age, I have decided that I would do some research on family fun park franchises. I found a company Indoor Amusement Company Inc. they are not a franchise but rather they provide a turn key business. Their fee is $35,000.00 made by deposits, the first deposit of $10,000.00 would need to be paid when the contract is signed that provides a complete business plan, market analysis, brand development and graphic design. The second deposit of $10,000.00 will be due only after financing is secured, The final deposit of $15,000.00 is due when the lease is signed.
The investment would be $35,000.00.
Thank you for your time and your help in advance!
Best regards,
Loretta Tidwell
