I'm building a personalized wayfinding app for major pedestrian areas such as large hospital complexes and airports. The app will be able to provide personalized walking directions around very large complexes/venues.
The benefit is two-fold with both the customers receiving the benefit of personalized walking directions, as well as the venues and complexes benefitting from being able to advertise directly to the visitors/customers within the GPMe app. For example, at a large airport, vendors within the airport can pay to advertise their particular business and have it presented to all of the users of the app.
While it may appear at first that this is something that currently exists, the truth is that there is no such way to personalize walking directions within a large complex the way that GPMe will.
An example of this would be to be to provide the room number that you're trying to get to at a large hospital. The user can simply input the room number and receive step by step directions directly to that room.
