Genuine Pet Care

I would like to start up a boarding facility, we need $750,000 . We will not be like other kennels. Our campers will be in small play groups.   Hello, my name is Monica Roddy.  First, this has been a dream of mine for as long as I can remember. I have worked in the veterinary field for 14 years and have run a pet sitting service from my home for almost the same amount of time.  My passion is animals. I have always wanted to run a kennel for our furry family members. We are going  for an open play concept. We want to make their time away from their owners like summer camp,  fun and stress free.  We will have small play groups where they can run out their energy, and socialize with others.  Our motto is a home away from home.

              Dogs bark, chew on themselves, act out when they are bored or frustrated. We want to eliminate these problems.  We also know there will be some dogs that can’t be in a play group. We will make sure that they are exercised and played with. We are not a  huge kennel that has so many dogs that the individual care isn’t there. We will have staff there 24/7. If a dog needs to go out or just needs some special care, we are there to tend to their needs. 

             Our cats will have their own cat condo! If you want your cats to stay together, our condos can expand to double the space.  The cats will have an enrichment room where they can get out of the condo to climb and scratch on the cat trees.  

           When people say kennel they think cages, they think barking, they think unhappy pets,  not here.  I wont say they will never bark, sometimes they get excited, but it will not be a constant bark. It would be no different than a dog walking past your house. Our campers will be tired by the end of the day.  We will have living rooms set up for them to hang out in. When it's too hot or cold outside they will have an indoor play area so we can make sure that they are exercised and have that individual attention that they can’t get in the larger kennels.
