Friesians of Majesty is one of the top Friesian horse farms in the world started by owner, Robert Labrie. Robert sold his construction company, asphalt plant and rock quarry, to take an early retirement at 48 years old. He wanted to get back to his passion for horses and enjoy his retirement. He quickly fell in love with this very special breed and he decided to start breeding them. He now has the largest and the best Friesian Farm in the world with 120 horses. Robert is a FPZV Keuring Judge for the yearly inspection of Friesian horses. Robert is now a certified breeding technician which he received from Ohio State and he is the first Friesian breeder in the world to do his own embryo transfers. Robert has been to 3 other countries teaching Veterinarians how to do embryo transfers with Friesian horses. Even better than this, Robert developed an amazing imprinting method and he is in the process of getting it patented. Friesians of Majesty has the best bloodlines, the best movers and most of all the best temperaments as a result of his imprinting method. There are only 175 approved Friesian breeding stallions in the world and 8 of them are at Friesians of Majesty including Othello, the number one breeding stallion in the world. He is the best of the best. Robert has instituted other programs that produce income that enable people to fall in love with these spectacular black beauties, which makes them want to own one. We have about 4,000 visitors a year with tour bus shows, women’s 3 day camp and seminars. Robert offers sleigh rides in the winter, carriage rides, weddings and funerals with these beautiful horses. We also offer educational opportunities for apprenticeships or internships for college credits.
