Franchise

I'm wanting to start a franchise of a popular burger joint in a potentially lucrative market. There is new development taking place in the Southwestern region of Santa Fe, NM with a fairly new medical center and close proximity to the Interstate. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Nursing. While I don't have a background in fast food, I do have experience with the service industry. Currently, I have been a travel nurse in the behavioral health field since 2017. I have experience with some of the most difficult personalities and the forethought on how to properly manage the many dynamics on a unit. If funding is secured, the next step would be to apply to the franchise in hopes of being approved.  Market viability would be determined along with other factors (real estate, expenses, potential revenue, adoption). There are other chains in the southern part of the state that have been adopted well and even to the North in Colorado. I don't know the exact revenues but will provide more data soon. The particular franchise in mind requires that five additional restaurants be opened within five years. I don't know if this requirement is set in stone or if there is some flexibility. If the five restaurants are a requirement, there is potential for other cities going up the I-25 corridor that don't have this particular franchise. Looking forward to hearing from you!
