Fortesza is a Panama-based FinTech company that allows Latin American (and elsewhere) consumers to invest in the U.S. stock market. The company carries the same licensure as UBS and other top banks, making it a regulatory-compliant financial institution.
After consulting with the leadership team, I'm now looking to acquire majority share of the company due to Fortesza not understanding marketing. The technology, with web and mobile apps, is built similar to Acorns and Robinhood, but it allows global investors to leverage the US stock market.
The company is selling 80% equity at a valuation of $600k. Based on todays' customer acquisition costs, which should drastically decrease, the company needs $130k in marketing to break even. Revenue is currently at $4,200 with a break even at $26k (including a full Panama-based team, licenses, etc).
