FollowUp is a Startup that was established in October of 2020.  FollowUp allows job seekers to track their job applications and prepare for interviews.  Also, FollowUp is meant to be a resource, the feature SafeSpace, allows users to connect with other people going through the job search process. They will connect and share tips related to the recruitment cycle and cope with job hunting demands or any other content related to the job process. In reality, many people are frustrated with this process and have been dealing with it for months or even years and may feel like they're alone. There are also cases where people have difficulties preparing for interviews and may not have the support from people they know, or they may have questions on how to improve and have no one to ask. 

Initially, FollowUp will target Canada (federally) then expand to the United States and eventually worldwide. FollowUp will cater to anyone seeking employment and recruiting employees. For instance, People who are just out of college, people looking to switch careers, People who need support to get through the daunting job search process, People who need mental health support due to working world demand. More specifically, FollowUp will target two different segments; first, people aged 15 to 22 and millennials ageing from 23-38. These two groups make up a majority of the mobile market and the digital app age. Moreover, smartphone penetration has increased among every age demographic, with millennials now well over 80% of the mobile application population. FollowUp will cater to employers looking to recruit people for various job positions and target approximately 25 different industries to maximize user options.

The market demand for a mobile application for job seekers is growing, with more number of them looking for a platform has been growing at an astonishing rate. The industry's current supply is given by operators planning to serve the employer segment, but there are no players who are servicing the job seeker segment. No application provides job seekers with niche features. Foreseeing a demand for these services worldwide, FollowUp would like to penetrate the market with a phased approach.
