Fineline Properties History

Our company started in 1984 and we were known as "Kent Toys." Our home has been in Kent Ohio, USA since the beginning and remains so today! Our very first character group was The Moodies. Over the next 3 years, we licensed The "Moodies" to over 450 products in 30 different countries. The "Moodies" were the face of Daiwa Securities in Tokyo Japan for years. We did similar licensing for Wendy's Restaurants and Kellogg's Cereals (65 million boxes). During this time frame, we generated over $20 Million dollars in revenue with our only group!

The "Moodies" were a focus group that was tested by some of the biggest companies in the world, we bested the test every time! Even Disney made a $87 Million dollar offer to buy the group back in the 90's. However, the acquisition did not go through.

Over the past 10 years, we have created a library of 40 different character groups. Our library is wildly diversified in its content and we take pride in giving each character its own identity and life. Our character groups have a myriad of unique names, biographies and most importantly… PERSONALITIES!

“The Solar Sisters” is a group of girls orphaned at a very young age on a planet far away. These girls yield secret powers that only manifest when they work together as a group! These are very special little girls! Our not so "politically correct" group displays the misfits known as, "White Trash". These ruffians are characters that truly live up to their name!

We have much more of our creativity to display at finelineproperties.net
