Eslinger Biodiesel Inc. (EBI) is a bio-refinery that will be processing used cooking oil to produce biodiesel. In addition, our plant is the only plant in the country with the technology to process the byproduct (Glycerin) and sell it as refined glycerin. The project is 90% finished, we are seeking $3 million for a 12% stake in the company to finish the last 10% of the project. A big portion of the money will be used to higher an electrical contractor to connect power to all the units, such as pumps, actuators, flow meters, etc. Another portion will be used to buy lab equipment and several plant motors, the rest will be for operating costs.
The project consists of 2 phases. Phase 1, which we are using the funds to finish, will produce 5 million gallons of biodiesel annually. Phase 2 of the project will be built as we are operating, and once finished and operating, our capacity will increase substantially to reach 10 million gallons of biodiesel per year. The plant (factory) is located in the same facility as Ameriguard Maintenance Services (a used oil collection company). Eslinger Biodiesel Inc. is contracted with Ameriguard. Ameriguard will supply EBI with used oil enough to produce 10 million gallons of biodiesel per year.
We also have a letter of intent with Chevron. Chevron is investing $3.5 billion in biodiesel, their goal is to acquire 5 million gallons of biodiesel per DAY by 2030.
