My name is Carolyn Nichol, I'm the owner, with my husband of the Energy Shack Juice Bar Inc, in Toronto. We are passionate about helping people heal naturally. We have a full cold pressed-organic juice bar and offer Nutritional Counselling services. I am a Certified Holistic Nutritionist, taking clients through a 30–60-day journey and helping them to reverse almost any health issue naturally. We have approximately 10 employees. This is our 9th year in business. We make about 600k in sales yearly. For 8 years we had a fully running café and juice bar with a retail store front (approx. 1100 sq feet). With high rising food costs and our commitment to make everything organic and gluten-free, the food portion of our business was not sustainable. In December 2023 we closed our storefront and moved it into a shared space with a Gluten Free Bakery down the street and have had continued success in running our business in this new format.
Recently a new opportunity has arisen. The Bakery we share space with is now for sale. We are familiar with how to run their operation since we have been working side by side for almost a year. It’s a profitable business, increasing in sales every year and in its 10th year of business. We are looking for help with the capital investment of approximately $550k Canadian. This Bakery is almost franchise-ready; they have a very niche growing market in the health space as one of the few in Canada that is fully gluten-free, nut-free & soy-free.
