Elevate Life Chiropractic

  My name is Dr. Annette and I am a board certified Chiropractor in the state of Missouri.  I founded Elevate Life Chiropractic in December of 2021 and soon after was struck by COVID and was forced to close for nearly a month to recover.  Luckily I had loans to help with working capital and was able to rent a beautiful practice complete with the latest technology and aesthetically pleasing office equipment.  It took about six to eight months to get in network with most of the major insurance groups in the state of Missouri.  The only one that is closed to all Chiropractors for the time being, is Blue Cross Blue Shield.  This blew through my working capital quite rapidly. 

I currently see about 30 patient visits per week, which equates out to 120 patient visits per month.  With each patient visit being about $70 on average, but some of those funds are coming through the insurance groups and can take up to 30 days to pay my practice.  This makes it difficult to juggle the payroll, rent, utilities and so forth on the cash payment we receive from patients.  In fact, I end up not paying myself, so that more income could stay in the practice.  I retained a second job on the weekends for supplemental income.   

I have room for expansion of my practice.  One day I hope to bring in another Chiropractor or massage therapist to augment the work I do in my practice.   Trouble is I haven't found the right fit that wants to be an independent contractor.  I will keep waiting on the right opportunity to unfold.    Meanwhile, I could use a larger marketing budget so that I may reach more people in the area.  We have practice members that send us referrals, but not enough.  If I was at 50 patient visits per week, then I would be able to sustain and breath more easily.  Until we grow into that, I appreciate your consideration on my request for funding and look forward to the day where my practice is absolutely flourishing.
