Early Learning Daycare

I started my daycare after teaching for almost 10 years. I taught at Head Start for almost 7 years and then taught special education at the local school district for 2 years. I was saddened by the fact my own children were being crammed into understaffed,  low quality, crowded daycares, while I was providing high quality environments for other peoples children. I wanted to create a high quality daycare environment that not only made parents and children feel safe, but that was affordable and attainable. 

We are a high quality, educational, play based daycare who pride ourselves on making high quality childcare attainable for middle to lower class families.  The original location in Provo is growing faster than expected and needs updates in order to accommodate incoming business. I have also been presented with the opportunity to expand my daycare into two other towns here in southern Utah. Last year in 2022,  families spent between $9600- $18,000 per child for child care costs. My average cost per child is $700 a month or $8400 a year.  

With the opportunity to expand into two more locations, we will not only be providing high quality child care to those areas, but we also gain the opportunity to grow financially in a growing market. It is estimated that each new location will start out needing childcare for 30-40 children. This will bring in an average of  $21,000- $28,000 a month or $252,000- $336,000 a year. These numbers are just starting numbers. They do not include the estimated numbers of growth they are anticipating to happen in the next couple of years. 

I operate under the name LLC Early Learning Daycare. Most of my marketing has been word of mouth, facebook market place, and a banner hanging outside of the Provo location. I am currently working closely with website developer to get my website up and running to help with marketing. 

On top of the costs of starting two new locations and updating the Provo location, is the costs of hiring experienced,  educated, and qualified staff. In order to run a high quality childcare center we need high quality staff. Having happy and qualified staff help to make the high quality environment feel safe and welcoming to parents and children.
