We are requesting funding for our film and television/multimedia company. We believe this request fits under your giving area under new companies that have the potential to make a difference in the world, using technology and entertainment.
Our vision and mission are central to our efforts in generating funds for this production company: Double 8 Entertainment is a forward-thinking production company whose mission is to provide entertaining, enlightening, and excellent stories through film, television, and all other digital platforms. Our global focus and efforts will help us introduce and connect everyone.
A new, diverse, and forward-thinking production company is needed for the following reasons: Representation, ending systemic racism, and global appeal. With this grant, we will tell stories that haven’t been told through films and television shows that are represented by all ethnicities. Our goal and vision are to be inclusive in front and behind the camera. We not only want to celebrate our differences, but recognize our similarities. Not only will we be making art, but we understand that is a business. We recognize the need to be fiscally responsible, so that we can continue to make a positive change throughout many generations.
Talking about change has long past gone. The time for action is now. Our leaders, people with resources/money need to get behind people/companies that are willing to make those changes now. Double 8 Entertainment is one of those companies. We have the knowledge, work experience, and connections to see these must needed changes come true. With collaboration and strategic partnerships already in place, all we need are the necessary funds to make those must needed changes happen. With your funds, you will make Double 8 Entertainment the GOLD STANDARD, and an example of what change will and can do.
