Dance Inc 20

School Teacher trying to inspire a new generation to dance.

I am a 6th grade math teacher, I also teach ballet, modern, jazz, and hip-hop to students after school in Phoenix Arizona. I have 30 dance students, but the school has decided to discontinue the dance classes because it is not in the budget. I decided to begin my own dance company. I named it Dance Inc 20, I am an LLC and I have an EIN for the company.  What I don't have is a space for us to hold dance classes.

I envision a 3,000 sq. ft. space with two restrooms that each have a changing room. This studio would be opened year round. It would have a rolling door that would allow classes to be held early summer and during the fall season with air flowing throughout the space. The Glendale area in Arizona doesn't have an accessible studio for the neighborhood. I would also like to hold adult classes too. I want to offer affordable classes for all of my students, $25 -$45 a class. Some classes are $50-$250 a class. My 1st and 2nd grade ballet students have been heartbroken since classes were stopped. Their parents are more than willing to pay what they need so that their children can dance.

My most recent students performed for Christmas at The Academy of Math and Science; I performed solo for the Black History month celebration. I will be performing for the Women's Month celebration  too. I attended Mayfair Dace Academy located in Chicago Illinois as a child. I attend Lincoln Park Academy of Performing Arts where I was a dance major in High School. Over the years I have taught dance, and trained multiple cheerleading teams.
