WHAT WE DO
Crush is a recruiting firm tailored for businesses in AdTech, Digital Media, and Real Estate.  We only recruit direct-hire permanent employees.  Companies use us for two reasons: they can't find qualified candidates, or they are too busy to recruit for themselves.  We have them sign an agreement, and then begin engaging potential candidates through email, messages and phone calls.  We create a curated list of candidates who meet all job requirements.  We schedule phone screens with interested candidates, and then only submit the ones who are qualified to the company for review.  

Our fee is based on a percentage of the hired candidate's salary, and is contingent upon a successful hire.  In other words, we only bill when a company hires a candidate we've presented.  Our average fee is 15% - 20% of the first year salary.  

REVENUE
The company was founded in August of 2019, and we finished the year at $27,000 in revenue.  We finished 2020 with revenue of $81,000 despite dealing with a hiring freeze across the country as a result of an international pandemic.  With paid and receivables, our current 2021 run rate is $155,000.

Our 2020 profit margin was 71%, and margins will continue to be high as our business requires very little overhead even as it scales. 

TEAM
I am the only full-time employee.  I have a 1099 recruiter who started in May and works part-time.  She placed her first candidate in June, and has since placed another.  The industry average for a new recruiter to make his/her first placement is seven months.  With our approach, she did it in two working 20 hours per week.  

We are raising capital for two reasons:

1) To grow the company and offer a small salary and benefits to new recruiters.  Offering both will legitimize us in the minds of potential employees and allow us to hire and grow faster.  We have a model that works and is extremely scalable.
2) I want to develop a job comparison website.  It will operate a lot like NerdWallet (credit card comparison), CarGurus (used car comparison) or OwnUp (mortgage lender comparison).  Candidates will come to the site, and answer a short questionnaire.  Then, we'll show them 3-5 jobs for which they are qualified and guaranteed an interview.  We will then do a quick phone screen, and move to schedule them for an interview with the company's hiring manager.  There isn't anything like this in the market right now, and candidates are being extremely picky about jobs.  They want to see their best options, and this is the way to give it to them.  This will also help us fill jobs considerably faster by digitizing our business.
