I have spent the better part of six years developing the premier product of Creative Cretin, HushTags, a unique sticker that allows two or more people to transfer messages in confidence using the tap-enabled features of a smart device. Everything is now in place. The product is fully developed and ready for active use, but I don't have the resources I need to properly bring it to market. The funds invested will be used to hire staff to support the brand, and help me reach he customers that will most benefit from our products.
I am a software engineer with over two decades experience building software products for companies of any scale, from start up to Fortune 500. This will be the first time I have built a brand completely on my own, and I am excited to see it flourish. On my team, are a business analyst with two years of experience managing accounts for several municipalities. I also have a head of marketing who runs her own firm and has more than two decades of experience in strategic marketing as well as executive level exposure in several F500 companies.
With the money invested, we will hire two mid-level software engineers to support our product launch, and a marketing staff to support our customer acquisition push into the Scottsdale market in 2024, ahead of the Spring season for universities. We will be capturing the market of local high school seniors and college-level students in and around Scottsdale, AZ with a combination of:
- Guerrilla marketing
- Live events
- Posted signage
- Pop up shops
Many of which we intend to be placed directly on or enroute to college campuses. We expect rapid adoption of our products once word spreads to local markets of the concept and how the brand works.
At parity, we expect to bring in between $10,000 - $30,000 per month in direct product sales of our stickers using a combination of in-app purchases, sales from our hosted website, and listings on Etsy and Tiktok in our first year.
We also expect to earn an additional $3,000 - $10,000 per month in services and up-sells using in-app purchases in our first year.
In order to minimize our costs, we plan to have our events and in-person experiences sponsored and possibly come with a cover charge. Product sold during these encounters will also go towards bolstering our revenue for 2024.
