Raising 100k to develop and launch a real money skill-based social game

CashComment is a social game where players compete against each other to the create the best comment to a random question or prompt. Players win money for each vote their comment recieves. Specific details on game processes will be provided upon signing an NDA.  Me and my brother founded  CashComment in 2011. We were able to raise 40k from family and friends to have it developed. Unfortunately , 40k wasn't enough to have it done domestically , so we had to offshore the project. This came with it's own set of problems to say the least. After 16 months, the project was done. It wasn't exactly what we envisioned but it was a fully functioning prototype and would satisfy our needs. We received great results when we tested it with focus groups .We would do 2 hour focus groups but people got so into the game that we had 80% continue playing hours after we finished.  So, with a complete beta and great results testing the market,  we were ready for our next step , securing a merchant. This proved to be a far more difficult task than anticipated and, ultimately,  was the hurdle that delayed CashComment up to this point. I called over 35 merchants over the span of 6 months.  Other than a few conservative ones, almost all merchants loved the concept and initially approved and I even got so far with some that they seemed certain we would be signed on . However , when it got to the underwriter,   it was always rejected.  The 2 reasons the banks that underwrite these merchants never approved us is because they classified it as gambling (which is a joke, we had letters from attorneys confirming it crushes the "skill vs.chance" test the law required at the time. Unfortunately, underwriters don't talk to you and don't give a crap about your legal proof,  if your company doesn't fit their cookie cutter business models , you get rejected.  The second reason,  was micropaymets. CashComment's payment model consists of many micro transactions. On average , a transaction will be $1-$2. At the time ,  mobile apps were not near the behemoth they are now. It wasn't that common for merchants to process $0.99 transactions constantly, so,  when they did , it was expensive and wasn't cost effective. These things being said,   CashComment was just before its time. Even with these bumps in the road , I never gave up on CC and continously dedicated my time to working on it. (Most recently ,  a play money mobile version that was on, both, Android and IOS)  Fast forward to now , gambling is virtually legal (though CashComment is not remotely gambling , with skill being 99% of it)  and micro transactions are commonplace. This is finally the time for CashComment. Our biggest hurdles are not issues anymore. However , if we want this done right and in a timely manner, than we need to develop it domestically.  Which is the main reason for this funding request.  We found a domestic developer who can develop CashComment the exact way we envisioned. I know this is still a high risk investment but you will find no one more motivated than me. I plan on leaving my job and dedicating full time to this project. I will never give up on trying to launch CashComment on my own but,  with this funding request,  I am confident I will successfully bring it to market. Again, you will find no one more determined to make this a success and I ask you to take a chance on me. Thanks for your time reading this and for your consideration.
