Dear Potential Investor;

            I want to thank you for the opportunity to present our new business initiative. BPD is looking for funding to get my innovative new non-combustible modular building system prototyped and tested.  My name is Philip Dopp, I have 30 years building experience as a carpenter. After a career ending injury I was forced to reevaluate what I wanted to do with my life. I had lots of experience but could no longer swing a hammer, so I went back to school. I studied architectural design and computer aided drafting programs and started to design homes. The cost of new construction has always been high in California. Couple that with how many homes we lose each year to wildfires and other natural disasters. I saw a need to innovate housing construction. I began to rethink the way we build as a nation, we still stick frame houses like we have for hundreds of years. There just had to be a better way. I created that better way with the PT-PS-CSIP system.

            My partner Joe Serrano and I started BPD Designs together.  BPD is a new design firm founded to be the vehicle for the PT system I invented. We have initial testing on both wall and floor panels. The wall testing has shown this system to be both flexible and strong. Further initial cost analysis show walls to cost about half that of conventional stick framed walls. Using the PT System, I estimate we can reduce the cost of building by 30% compared to stick frame homes. Add to that this system will produce a home that is virtually air tight, rapidly assembled, non-combustible, energy efficient and low maintenance. I believe this system can make a real contribution to solving the housing emergency in California.
