Our business model targets cross-boarder remittances.

Imagine!
Imagine leaving your community, your country and your culture to settle in another country for better life! Imagine the loneliness and stress of separation from family and loved ones and even your support system! Imagine having to help your family members left behind with their health needs, education and food! Imagine having to find healthcare providers from 14,000KM away, how complex and hopeless it can be when one is far removed from the region! Imagine the worry of not knowing if the money sent will actually be used for intended purposes! Imaging how family members are dying of ailments that are treatable but no funds to seek a healthcare provider's help or access to medications!!!
I have experienced this very emotional situation. Before my father passed away, my siblings and I spent many sleepless nights and so much money to try and get him the help he needed. Having been more than 20yrs away, I had lost touch with friends and business partners so coordinating patient care was a nightmare. more that 60% of the money we sent, ended up in other pressing needs while my father remained untreated. Sometimes, the money sent would be abused by the recipient as my father was advanced in age.
Innovative Solution
Enter TOTALURGENTHEALT.COM, an online platform that connects the Zimbabwean diaspora, local healthcare providers and their loved ones back home. We have a growing network of service providers in Zimbabwe that stand ready to serve their loved ones who may not have health insurance. Our goal is to on-board healthcare providers in every Zimbabwean city, town or village and avail them to the Zimbabwean diaspora.
Our providers are all companies and professionals who have a part to play in the health sector. Currently we have, clinics, pharmacies, laboratories, imaging companies, transportation and catering. Sometimes, patients need transportation to and from a service provider, sometimes they need medical deliveries and other times may need home visits. So we do have transportation services on our platform. Sometimes, in developing countries like Zimbabwe, patients admitted in a facility may experience hunger on top of their current illness, hence we introduced caterers with specialty in patient nutrition. Sometimes, clients need help coordinate all this for disabled or aging family members. We introduced case management service which can help coordinate all this.
Sometimes, family members in the diaspora may not have all the resources to assist their loved ones with chronic illnesses or other expensive services and medications. We have a crowd funding function on our app which allows well wishers to pay towards the bill so that providers can render their services to their loved ones.
