Biddersweet takes a contrasting approach to the standard online marketplaces, allowing people to sell their item quicker than they would be able to on other e-commerce sites.
Overview of BiddersweetInstead of someone crafting an articulate listing for an item to sell, they can view bids placed already on the item and initiate a sell offer immediately.
This reduces the wait time and effort required to sell an item drastically.
The bidders will be attempting to purchase an item for cheaper than retail, that are willing to wait for the deals to come to them.
My mission is to streamline the process of selling used goods without any waiting or hassle, and to create an e-commerce platform that is convenient and confidential, centered around buying and selling with privacy and ease.
The target market we are trying to reach are slow buyers looking for good deals and are willing to wait, and fast sellers that want to get rid of an item for a bit less than its street value in return for minimal effort compared to the other standard marketplace platforms.
I am seeking $200,000 in funding to develop the alpha and beta of the website. Biddersweet will operate locally in the beginning, but will expand to more cities once the platform is off on its feet.
