Bell Petroleum is family owned and operated company that sells bulk fuels and lubricants to the agriculture, aviation, construction and oil & gas industries.
The Bell Petroleum team consist of Ken Bell owner has 6+ years experience as an entrepreneur, 25+ years in the Oil & Gas Industry. Worked his way up to Operations Manager of 43 rigs and 700+ employees. As the Operations manager he was in charge of Budgeting, Purchasing, Administration Management. Ken has made many relationships in the oil & gas industry that have brought Bell Petroleum numerous business opportunities since starting up in 2016. Ken grew up on a farm working in parts of agriculture. Completed many courses such as: Conflict Management, Accident Investigation, and achieved the highest award for achievement in Dale Carnegie Training.
Brendan Nikles has been with Bell Petroleum since the fall of 2020 and has brought in 65+ new customers in various industries. Some of those industries are agriculture, aviation, trucking, construction and aggregate companies. Brendan has a background in agriculture through working on his family farm and graduated with a diploma in plant and soil science. This provides a slight advantage in the sales market as he able to relate to customers on a personal level.
Bell Petroleum faces tough competition in the southern Alberta region but the market is vast. Our competition consist of Coop, Petro Canada, Bluewave and UFA. Bell Petroleum will travel 2 hour radius of the yard to deliver product to our customers. Because of this large market we are able to reach out to lots of different customers and provide exceptional service along with competitive pricing and more of a friendly service.
Bell Petroleum profits from selling fuel and lubricants in the retail market. Where Bell Petroleum succeeds is by offering the customers the best service which leads to customer retention. Bell Petroleum has a customer base that we have been servicing over the last 6 years and we continue to look for new customers.
Bell Petroleum in the short time we have been in the fuel and lubricant business went from 1 yard to 3 yards and from 5 customers to 65+ customers and we have done this by competitive pricing, prompt and friendly service! We went from selling 500,000 litres to now selling 4 million litres in the southern Alberta area. Bell Petroleum has started to build a name in the fuel and lubricants business. Bell Petroleum has a goal to continue growing the company each and every year as southern Alberta's premier independent supplier of bulk fuel and lubricants. We plan to continue being aggressive in the retail market, attracting more customers to buy from Bell Petroleum. We also strive to operate as a safe, sustainable and efficient business.
In order to grow Bell Petroleum with price of fuel and lubricants and having a 30 day pay period we would need $3million to cover the cost associated with buying and selling bulk fuel and lubricants. This would allow us to go out and be very aggressive selling both bulk fuel and lubricants.
