In March 2022, we received our initial approval from the state to own/operate a hospice agency. Seasoned staff in place. Vendors, medical professionals, and referral sources primed once state approves application for business, submitted earlier this week. The team that is assembled has over 35 years of hospice service. The owners have 25+ years of combined managerial experience in post-acute healthcare services. I have been blessed with the ability to create a culture of success that is embraced by my employees and has, in every circumstance, led to agency growth ranging from 13 - 58% within the first year of employment. With the promise of our Medical Director's support, existing hospice patients who will transfer, and the dedication of ownership and employees, we are primed to exceed financial projections upon State certification and successful CMS/Medicare Audit. In addition to growth (as I have a marketing background), I run an agency that is conservatively staffed for growth in order to maximize profit margin.
In December 2021, through my Bible study and prayer time, God led me to this calling. Simply stated, we are equipped to set the standard of hospice care in the initial four-county area. We have adapted the mission statement based on 2 Corinthians 1: 3-4 that states "...we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God." As a result, Hands of God Hospice has been filed and our parent company, BDMACK, Inc. has been incorporated.
Besides the approval by the state (anticipated to take 2-6 weeks), we are in need of start-up capital estimated to be $500,000. That is the initial financial needed to survive the waiting period of pre-launch branding/marketing, passing audit and attaining the ability to bill Medicare and create cashflow.
