We developed a spectacular app to increase the consumption of real, artisanal and less fake food. Apiu app stands out in its easy way to order catering, scheduled orders and instant orders. This marketplace reached annual revenue of over $25B in 2020.
The Business
Apiu is a platform that offers artisanal and traditional food services. There are platforms with food delivery services where finding restaurants that sell real food with the authentic traditional flavor is difficult since the vast majority of these platforms sell all kinds of food. Another problem is the shortage of time that exists in homes where members work full time. Additionally, not all people have enough money to travel and be able to taste the food of different countries.
Apiu will make a difference by grouping on its platform the artisan and traditional restaurants that sell or that highlight the authentic food of the countries in which they specialize, offering an easy way to programming catering for events and special dates.
The Market
● According to the market, approximately 44M people in the US use the delivery food app. Apiu seeks to satisfy the need that exists in users aged between 23 to 50 years since within these ages people tend to travel, want to taste food from other cultures, have meetings, parties, special occasions for work issues, they are ages where Having a culture in food gives you status, knowledge, at these ages there are many people who emigrate to countries other than their culture and always want to have the true flavor of their native country.
● For this reason, it is also aimed at users in Companies, Universities, Colleges, and Offices that organize caterings at events and special dates.
Progress/Proof
● Apiu currently has 2 apps developed. Customer App and the App of the ally restaurant. Additionally, we have an administrative panel that manages these two apps. On the other hand, we already have 13 allies on the platform that sells artisanal and traditional food in desserts, cakes, vegan food, and food of different cultures.
● These advances have started only in the city of Orlando, Florida. Objectives/Future
● Our vision is to be an app highly recognized by US residents for promoting the consumption of real and traditional food and less fake food. Offering an easy way to place an order at the moment, organize a catering, an event, or scheduled orders through a mobile. Also, to empower small businesses that need this technology to serve their customers.
● To achieve these goals, we have a business plan with a timeline and strong digital marketing strategies, also, with studies of the competition where we improve their failures and add services that open an easier way for consumers.
● For this, we need investments for the hiring of personnel trained in digital marketing programming and customer service among others.
