Book Binding

Looking to open book bindery. Binderies have closed since Covid and publishers and authors are sending more than ever, binderies can 't keep up. 
Currently working in the book manufacturing industry, I know there is huge need for another bindery to be able to take on short and long run jobs for both hard cover and soft cover (paperback) books.  Printers and publishers are  waiting 8-12 weeks to get books done,  others are ordering thousands of copies and sending them overseas to have them printed and bound.  We want to be able to offer printing for short runs and binding for some of the longer runs here in the US.  Long term would love to be able to offer large format printing and binding but I know you have to crawl before you walk.   The team we have put together have a myriad of different skills and talent they each bring and we all compliment each other in various ways.   I have worked in the book manufacturing industry for almost 18 years as a customer service manager and print production coordinator. Our plant manager has held various positions in manufacturing including 20 years experience in the printing industry and 12 years experience as IT Help Desk Manager for a university.  Our IT Director is current a network system admin for a university as well as owning his own small technology based business.  Our head of maintenance has graduated from Lincoln Tech's electrical program and has several years experience in hydraulic systems, mechanical and electric as well as being a US Veteran.   Together with a few others we have the knowledge and drive to get this new company open and off the ground.
