Through music, dance, food and action our goal is to highlight the importance of brand power, education, innovation and preservation of the richness of our African roots by providing platforms for open communication and integrative experience within the arts.  Through our events and actions, we create programming that is inclusive and proudly represents our communities; and we are excited about our biggest platform next year that will take Africa in America® to the next level.

We invite you to be a contributing investor to the first ever, Africa in America® Music, Dance, and Culture Festival to be held on June 7 - 9, 2025, at Hollywood Park in Inglewood, CA. The event will be the first-ever of its kind and is 100% dedicated to celebrating and promoting the lineage of the African Diaspora on a local and global level through innovation, education, technology, and community-building. Our performers and artist instructors represent the BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) community, and as producers, we are committed to hiring local and national production vendors that are a reflection of the community.  In an unprecedented move, Hollywood Park has also become our first official sponsor! We can't wait to see what Hollywood Park and Africa In America's collaboration can do for the LA County, the city of Inglewood, and the global African Diasporic community through our 3-day event!

Africa in America® Music, Dance, and Culture Festival will work in collaboration with the City of Inglewood to support local businesses and organizations. Residents of Inglewood, being a city that's majority black and brown people, with a median income that's below the median income of Los Angeles, have faced consistent displacement due to all the new development in the community. Community members have expressed, "It's like the city is being beautified, but it's not being beautified for us." Our festival will be for the community and will represent the community - And you will help make this happen!

Culture & Community Impact:

  • Encouraging social, cultural and economic interaction
  • Fostering community involvement and identity
  • Increasing local business prospects
  • Creating local jobs
  • Drawing in people from Inglewood and surrounding cities and towns who all need this event
  • Impact revenue into BIPOC-owned businesses, as we will be engaging local restaurants, vendors, designers, artists, organizations, and sponsors
  • With your contributions, you will be recognized as patrons of the festival, so that we can shine a light on the community effort that it takes to make a festival of this magnitude happen.

Respect to all,
