Accounting/Bookkeeping

I am looking to start an accounting/bookkeeping business. My goal is to be doing full-cycle bookkeeping remotely.  At this time I would not be planning on hiring employees.

I have been working as an accountant/bookkeeper for 25 years.  My goal is to break out and start my own bookkeeping business.  I am a Quickbooks Online ProAdvisor and an Excel expert.  I have worked with clients face-to-face, via Zoom meetings, and telephone calls.  Full-cycle bookkeeping is where I would do everything for my client - from initial data entry to presenting financial statements.  My experience includes working in CPA offices giving me the expertise to analyze financial statements and advise clients on financial decisions regarding their business.

My target clients would be small to medium businesses that do not need to employ a full-time bookkeeper.  Also, I would be targeting high-net-worth individuals to offer fractional CFO services.  I plan to use social media and word-of-mouth to market my business.

I am confident this business will generate at least $500K in revenue annually.
