The Academy of Creative Coaching is a well-established woman-owned coach training academy with a fundamental purpose of training and certifying professional coaches. Founded in 2013, our mission is to facilitate transformative change for individuals, organizations, and the broader social landscape of our global community. We take pride in offering a diverse range of specializations, enabling creative change in various domains, including the medical field, personal relationships, the executive suite, and higher education.
Our primary objective is to secure angel funding to support the following key initiatives:
- Upgrading our Learning Management System (LMS) Platform: By investing in advanced technology, we aim to enhance our online learning experience and provide our trainees and graduates with a seamless and engaging platform. This upgrade will enable us to incorporate innovative features, optimize course delivery, and ensure a user-friendly interface.
- Expanding our Administrative Team: As our academy continues to grow, we recognize the importance of building a robust administrative team. The funding will enable us to hire experienced professionals who will streamline our operations, handle increased enrollment, and provide essential support to our expanding network of coaches.
- Redesigning our Curriculum: We are committed to delivering cutting-edge coaching education that aligns with the evolving needs of our trainees. With the guidance of our esteemed founder, Dr. Pamela Larde, a professor and renowned scholar in coaching-related topics, the redesigned curriculum will integrate the core values of our pillars: human wholeness, creative solutions, cultural competency through a JEDI (Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion) lens, and invigorative leadership.
- Establishing a Dual-Use Physical Space: To further facilitate collaboration and networking among coaches and business owners, we aim to create a dedicated physical space in Atlanta. This multifunctional facility will serve as our headquarters and offer co-working services, podcast studios, office resources, professional development sessions, and networking opportunities. By fostering a vibrant community, we can nurture an ecosystem that encourages knowledge sharing and growth.
- Nonprofit Partnerships: We aim to establish partnerships with nonprofit organizations that are dedicated to serving struggling populations. One such example is the women's wing of Kirikiri Prison in Lagos, Nigeria, where the suicide rates among current and formerly incarcerated women have been sharply rising. These women face significant stigmatization even if they have been found innocent, resulting in the loss of their eligibility to marry and secure employment. As a consequence, they become reliant on their families for their livelihoods. Shockingly, statistics indicate that 70 percent of women released from incarceration ultimately die by suicide.
At the Academy of Creative Coaching, we firmly believe in the transformative power of coaching, and we are dedicated to using our platform to address societal issues and effect positive change. Our commitment to social impact aligns perfectly with the vision of partnering with nonprofit organizations that share our goal of uplifting struggling populations, promoting mental well-being, and offering opportunities for growth and personal development.
Together with our funding objectives of upgrading our LMS platform, expanding our administrative team, redesigning our curriculum, and establishing a dual-use physical space, this fifth primary objective reinforces our dedication to making a difference in the lives of marginalized communities. We are driven to extend our reach and contribute to the betterment of the world, one coaching intervention at a time.
